107) And truly, do not open your ears to those who lie to you saying that you will be cursed if you do not believe in gods and tin gods or in liberators (angels) and demons and venerable ones (holy ones), because all of them are only unsubstantial fabulations (inventions) of those who are confused and of all those who want to beat you down into servitude (bondage) and exploit you through your belief; and therefore their lies are also hazy pictures (delusions), as are shared by their believers and the priests of gods and tin gods and of other servants of gods and servants of tin gods; and do not open your ears to those who lie to you that you will be cursed if you do not believe in priests and other servants (hands/helpers) of delusional beliefs and gods and tin gods, and also if you do not believe in people of your kind (human beings) who raised themselves up as godheads or as authorised ones (substitutes) of gods and tin gods and demons. 107) Und wahrlich, öffnet nicht euer Ohr jenen, welche euch belügen, dass über euch ein Fluch komme, wenn ihr nicht im Glauben an Götter und Götzen seid, wie auch nicht im Glauben an Befreier (Engel) und Dämonen und Weihevolle (Heilige), denn sie sind allesamt nur wesenlose Erdichtungen (Erfindungen) Irrender und aller jener, welche euch durch euren Glauben in Knechtschaft (Hörigkeit) schlagen und ausbeuten wollen; und also sind ihre Lügen auch irre Dunstbilder (Wahnvorstellungen), wie sie auch ihren Gläubigen und den Priestern der Götter und Götzen und der sonstigen Götterdiener und Götzendiener eigen sind; und öffnet nicht euer Ohr jenen, welche euch belügen, dass ihr von einem Fluch getroffen werdet, wenn ihr nicht im Glauben an Priester und sonstige Diener (Handlanger) irrer Glauben und Götter und Götzen seid, wie auch nicht an Euresgleichen (Menschen), die sich selbst als Göttlichkeiten erheben oder als Bevollmächtigte (Stellvertreter) von Göttern und Götzen und Dämonen.
108) Pay heed to only dwelling amongst those who are connected to the truth, but not amongst the deniers of the truth, so that you shall not become like them and that you do not create punishment in yourselves through lovelessness and unpeace and unknowledgeness; and do not give yourselves any deferment (time limit) for remaining amongst deniers of the truth if they confront you threateningly (intimidatingly/dangerously) so that you shall subserviently bow down (in bondage) to their lies about the truth. 108) Achtet, dass eure Bleibe nur unter jenen sei, die der Wahrheit zugetan sind, nicht jedoch unter Wahrheitslügnern, auf dass ihr nicht ihresgleichen werdet und ihr nicht in euch Strafe schafft durch Lieblosigkeit und Unfrieden und Unwissenheit; und gebt euch keinen Aufschub (Frist), um unter Wahrheitslügnern zu verweilen, wenn sie euch dräuend (bedrohend/gefährlich) entgegentreten, auf dass ihr ihren Wahrheitslügen untertänig vertiefend (hörig) werden sollt.
109) It shall not be held against you as unright if you dwell amongst deniers of the truth or consort with them providing you do not let yourselves be made uncertain in your love for the truth. 109) Es sei euch jedoch nicht als Unrecht angelastet, wenn ihr unter Wahrheitslügnern verweilt oder einhergeht, wenn ihr euch in eurer Wahrheitsliebe nicht beirren lasst.
110) Truly, if you dwell amidst deniers of the truth or consort with those who were previously knowing of the truth and fell away from it, then keep (protect) yourselves in particular from their fickleness (change of mind), because they are seven times more slanderous (calumnious) in their denial of the truth than those who have never been connected to the truth-teaching before. 110) Wahrlich, wenn ihr unter Wahrheitslügnern verweilt oder bei ihnen einhergeht, die vordem Wahrheitswissende waren und davon abfielen, dann verwahrt (hütet) euch besonders vor ihren Bedrängungen (Wankelmut/Sinneswandel), denn sie sind siebenmal verlästernder (verleumderischer) in ihrer Wahrheitsverleugnung als jene, welche nie zuvor der Wahrheitslehre zugetan waren.
111) And truly, those who have fallen away from the truth after previously having been connected to it and who continue to wallow in unknowledgeness of the truth, they will not rue this quickly, but will be confused for a long time and will always be concerned to slander (calumniate) those who are knowing in the truth and to make them turn away from their love of the truth. 111) Und wahrlich, jene, welche von der Wahrheit abfallen, nachdem sie ihr vorher zugetan waren und fortan der Wahrheitsunwissenheit frönen, sie werden nicht schnell reuig werden, sondern lange Zeit in die Irre gehen und stets darum besorgt sein, die Wahrheitswissenden zu verlästern (verleumden) und sie von ihrer Wahrheitsliebe abspenstig zu machen.
112) As for those who are unknowing in the truth and the truth-teaching of the prophets, you shall not accept either gold or other values from them if they, in their wanting to buy themselves free from the bad of their unknowledge, are giving it as ransom; truly, it is not possible to free oneself from the bad and pangs of conscience, from vices and lapses by performing penitence (atonement) and by making a penitential payment (indulgence/fine/ransom), because liberation from this can only come about through an elimination (no repetition) of the fallibilities (errors) and, if necessary, by an appropriate fulfilment of guidelines; if priests and other servants of tin gods and servants of gods accept penitence (atonement) and a penitential payment (indulgence/fine/ransom) then they are doing not right and are only interested in robbing their believers, because they cannot guarantee forgiveness for the bad and guilt or for vice and lapses either through penitence (atonement) or through a penitential payment (indulgence/fine/ransom), because forgiveness can only be granted by those who committed the bad and lapses themselves and have loaded the guilt or vice on themselves, as well as by those who had to suffer under them. 112) Die aber in der Wahrheit und der Wahrheitslehre der Propheten unwissend sind, so sollt ihr weder Gold noch andere Werte von ihnen annehmen, wenn sie sich damit als Lösegeld von ihren Übeln ihres Unwissens freikaufen wollen; wahrlich, nicht ist es möglich, durch einen Bussgang (Busse tun) und durch ein Bussgold (Ablass/Bussgeld/Freikaufen) sich zu befreien von Übeln und Schuld, von Lastern und Fehltritten, denn eine Befreiung davon kann nur werden durch eine Beseitigung (keine Wiederholung) der Fehlhaftigkeiten (Fehler) und allenfalls durch eine angemessene Massnahmevollziehung; nehmen Priester und sonstige Götzendiener und Götterdiener Bussgang (Busse tun) und Bussgold (Ablass/Bussgeld/Freikaufen), dann tun sie unrecht und sind nur auf Raub aus an ihren Gläubigen, denn wahrlich können sie weder durch Bussgang (Busse tun) noch durch Bussgold (Ablass/Bussgeld/Freikaufen) Vergebung gewähren für Übel und Schuld oder für Laster und Fehltritte, denn Vergebung können nur jene sich selbst erteilen, welche die Übel und Fehltritte selbst begangen und die Schuld oder Laster auf sich geladen haben, nebst jenen, welche darunter zu leiden hatten.
113) You can only achieve righteousness (conscientiousness) if you are fair ones (responsible ones) and knowing ones and fulfillers of the truth and of the laws and recommendations of the Creation; and you are also fair ones (responsible ones) and righteous ones (conscientious ones) if you give to the poor and needy from that which is dear to you. 113) Zur Rechtschaffenheit (Gewissenhaftigkeit) könnt ihr nur gelangen, wenn ihr Gerechte (Verantwortungsvolle) und Wissende und Erfüller der Wahrheit und der Gesetze und Gebote der Erbauenden (Schöpfung) seid; und Gerechte (Verantwortungsvolle) und Rechtschaffene (Gewissenhafte) seid ihr auch, wenn ihr von dem den Armen und Bedürftigen gebt, was euch lieb ist.
