33) And it is not rightful if people in union of a bond (marriage), with a man or woman, lie with (have sexual intercourse with) another man or another woman who is not included in the bond, because that is a breach of the bond (marriage) and shall be punished by the jurisdiction with a fulfilment of guidelines in a place of fulfilment of guidelines (secluded place/isolated island) for a certain time. 33) Und es ist nicht des Rechtens, wenn im Bündnis (Ehe) Vereinte, Mann wie Weib, ausserhalb ihres Bündnisses (Ehe) einem anderen Mann oder Weib beiwohnen (beischlafen), die nicht im Bündnis eingeschlossen sind, denn das ist ein Bruch des Bündnisses (Ehe) und soll durch die Gerichtsbarkeit geahndet werden mit einer Massnahmevollziehung an einem Massnahmevollziehungsort (abgelegener Ort/einsame Insel) auf bestimmte Zeit.
34) And it is not rightful and means blood-disgrace (incest/inbreeding) to enter into a bond (marriage) with a woman who was intimate with (married to) your father or forefather (grandfather); therefore it is not rightful and amounts to blood-disgrace (incest/inbreeding) to enter into a bond (marriage) with a man who was intimate with (married to) your mother or foremother (grandmother); therefore a hard punishment shall be meted out by the jurisdiction if something of this kind is done (undertaken). 34) Und es ist nicht des Rechtens und bedeutet Blutschande (Inzest/Inzucht), ein Bündnis (Ehe) einzugehen mit einem Weib, das mit eurem Vater oder Vorvater (Grossvater) vertraut (verheiratet) war; also ist es aber nicht des Rechtens und bedeutet Blutschande (Inzest/Inzucht), ein Bündnis (Ehe) einzugehen mit einem Mann, der mit eurer Mutter oder Vormutter (Grossmutter) vertraut (verheiratet) war; und es soll, so solches geschieht, harte Ahndung durch die Gerichtsbarkeit erfolgen.
35) And it is not rightful and means blood-disgrace (incest/inbreeding) if a father or mother enters into a bond (marriage) or lies with (has sexual intercourse with) his or her sons or daughters; therefore a hard punishment shall be meted out by the jurisdiction if something of this kind is done (undertaken). 35) Und es ist nicht des Rechtens und bedeutet Blutschande (Inzest/Inzucht), wenn Vater oder Mutter mit ihren Söhnen oder Töchtern ein Bündnis (Ehe) eingehen oder ihnen beiwohnen (beischlafen); und es soll, so solches geschieht, harte Ahndung durch die Gerichtsbarkeit erfolgen.
36) And it is not rightful and means blood-disgrace (incest/inbreeding) to lie with (have sexual intercourse with) your father or your mother, therefore a hard punishment shall be meted out by the jurisdiction if something of this kind is done (undertaken). 36) Und es ist nicht des Rechtens und bedeutet Blutschande (Inzest/Inzucht), eurem Vater oder eurer Mutter beizuwohnen (beizuschlafen), also harte Ahndung durch die Gerichtsbarkeit erfolgen soll, wenn solches getan (vollzogen) wird.
37) And it is not rightful and means blood-disgrace (incest/inbreeding) if brothers and sisters enter into bonds (marriages) with one another or lie with (have sexual intercourse with) one another, therefore a hard punishment shall be meted out by the jurisdiction if something of this kind is done (undertaken). 37) Und es ist nicht des Rechtens und bedeutet Blutschande (Inzest/Inzucht), wenn Geschwister untereinander Bündnisse (Ehen) eingehen oder einander beiwohnen (beischlafen), also harte Ahndung durch die Gerichtsbarkeit erfolge, wenn solches getan (vollzogen) wird.
38) Therefore man and woman are not allowed (it is forbidden for them) to enter into a bond (marriage) or to lie with (have sexual intercourse with) their mothers and fathers, their daughters and sons and the daughters and sons of their own daughters and sons; and it is not allowed for man and woman (it is forbidden for them) to do so with their sisters and brothers as well as the sons and daughters of their brothers and the sons and daughters of their sisters; and the same applies to the sons and daughters of the sons and daughters of their brothers as well as to the children of the daughters of their sisters and the children of the sons of theirs sisters; therefore protection shall be granted you as far as the third generation so that no blood-disgrace (incest/inbreeding) may occur. 38) Also sind dem Mann und dem Weib unerlaubt (verboten) für ein Bündnis (Ehe) oder Beiwohnen (Beischlaf) ihre Mütter und Väter, ihre Töchter und Söhne und deren Töchter und Söhne; und es seien ihnen unerlaubt (verboten) ihre Schwestern und Brüder wie auch die Brudertöchter und Brudersöhne, die Schwestertöchter und Schwestersöhne; und also gelte das auch für die Söhne und Töchter der Brudertöchter und Brudersöhne wie auch für die Kinder der Schwestertöchter und der Schwestersöhne; so ihnen Schutz gewährt sei bis ins dritte Glied, auf dass keine Blutschande (Inzest/Inzucht) entstehe.
39) And it is not rightful, therefore it shall not occur, that related mothers and fathers (stepfathers/stepmothers and adoptive fathers/adoptive mothers) lie with (have sexual intercourse with) the related children (stepchildren and adopted children), therefore a hard punishment shall be meted out by the jurisdiction if something of this kind is done (undertaken); if there are joined children (stepchildren) who are not taken as your own (not adopted) then their protection shall take the form of their age until the time when they come of age (grow up), following which they may be raised to the status of a bond (marriage) by the joined father (stepfather) or the joined mother (stepmother), if this is in accordance with the will of the children and that of the father and the mother. 39) Und es ist nicht des Rechtens, also es nicht sein soll, dass zuverwandte Mütter und Väter (Stiefvater/Stiefmutter und Adoptivvater/Adoptivmutter) den zuverwandten Kindern (Stiefkinder und Adoptivkinder) beiwohnen (beischlafen), so aber solches doch geschieht, soll harte Ahndung durch die Gerichtsbarkeit erfolgen; sind zugewandte Kinder (Stiefkinder), die nicht als eigene (adoptiert) genommen werden, so gelte zu ihrem Schutz ihr Alter bis zu der Zeit, da sie aus der Jugend entwachsen (erwachsen) sind, wonach sie in den Stand eines Bündnisses (Ehe) durch den zugewandten Vater (Stiefvater) oder durch die zugewandte Mutter (Stiefmutter) gehoben werden können, wenn es dem Willen der Kinder und des Vaters und der Mutter entspricht.
40) However, it is rightful if a man has several women at the same time who are sisters and he takes them into his hearth (home) in a bond (marriage). 40) Es ist jedoch des Rechtens, wenn ein Mann gleichzeitig mehrere Weiber, die Schwestern sind, in einem Bündnis (Ehe) an seinen Herd (Haus) führt.
