And those of you who cannot afford or do not want to enter into a certified bond (officially certified, certified
by the authority), then it is rightful for you to enter into a valid bond (marriage) without evidence (authorisation) from the authorities, and to have all the same rights as those who have evidence from the authority;
thus this also applies to bonds (marriages) between woman and woman and between man and man. |

Und wer von euch es sich nicht leisten kann oder es nicht will, ein beglaubigtes Bündnis (amtlich, obrigkeitlich beglaubigt) zu schliessen, so sei es euch des Rechtens, ein geltendes Bündnis
(Ehe) ohne obrigkeitlichen Beweis (Beglaubigung) einzugehen und alle gleichen Rechte zu haben
wie jene, welche einen Beweis der Obrigkeit haben; also gelte das auch für Bündnisse (Ehen)
zwischen Weib und Weib und Mann und Mann. |

And it is not rightful to coerce a man or a woman into a bond for whatever reason; yet hard punishment shall
be meted out by the jurisdiction if this is contravened. |

Und es ist nicht des Rechtens, einen Mann oder ein Weib in ein Bündnis zu zwingen, aus
welchen Gründen auch immer; doch soll dafür harte Ahndung sein durch die Gerichtsbarkeit,
wenn dem zuwidergehandelt wird. |
